Makeup Collection 2020

AfterlightImage.JPG

This is my makeup collection as of right now, missing a few things that are still in my car, which my sister has at the moment.

I don’t feel it’s a lot, then again, I AM a makeup junkie.

I can’t wait to have a vanity. That’s my dream. To have my own space, my own apartment, and FINALLY HAVE A VANITY.

Baby steps, baby steps, I know. But I’ve wanted one for so long, simply have no where to put it.

So I’m currently saving up for an apartment, and hopefully a cute vanity desk type deal to store my compulsive disorder of buying makeup.

Serious note, I genuinely scare my family with how often I buy makeup… but I can’t help it! It’s fun and gives me even more stuff to play with on days when I’m sick– like today, cough cough.

I’m excited to have a goal.

Originally it was for London, but seeing as everyone is under qaurentine right now, that looks to be a bit difficult. Besides, I’d have to save up my money and I just spent most of it at Ulta, Sephora, and Mac.

Not to mention paing bills- which I HAVE been doing by the way. There’s just a lot of them. UGH.

Anywhoooo hope you’re having a lovely day wherever you are, whichever cozy nook you’re reading this from, whenever time of the day it is where you’re from.

Have a great one.

Love,

Nat 💖

My favorite makeup

Lets talk about my favorite makeup. First, concealer. Now, I LOVE shape tape by tarte, but recently the born this way sculpting concealer has stolen my heart. I have two shades, I’m not the best at color matching but I try, what can I say.My all time favorite blush is coralista by Benefit cosmetics, it’s the most gorgeous coral that also has a highlighting effect. Rockateur is pretty cool too. Coffee and cream highlighter by Elf cosmetics (Heart Defensor) is BEAUTIFUL. I’m in love with the cream side, but will be getting a lot more use of the coffee side as I get tanner during the summer. Can’t beat it for $8. My all time favorite foundation is the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra wear foundation. It’s SO GOOD. Honestly, anything by Lancôme is great I find.Tarte blushes I’ve grown a mini collection of and I just love them.I hope you’ve enjoyed this mini look into my makeup bag! Let me know what you keep and love down in the comments. 💖 I’m such a makeup junkie, I’d love to meet others!

Lancôme Hypnose Drama

This is a mascara I LOVE. It goes way back with me all the way to when I was around 15 and really began loving makeup. I would always borrow or be given my moms mini travel size to use and it’s always been one I’ve been in love with because of memories (my moms still around don’t worry haha) and simply that it’s an amazing mascara.

It’s about $27.50 at Sephora and Ulta and there are a bunch of other mascaras Lancôme makes in case you wanted to check others out. My moms favorite is definicils. 🙂

The brush is not plastic, it is in fact a brush and it’s a bit curved, a bit like an “s” so it grabs every lash well (at least for me). It also smells great! Nothing special really, just fresh. If you really want a mascara that has a scent the YSL babydoll mascara has a nice rose scent. 🌹

Hope you enjoyed this mini review!

The 3 Best Makeup Removers

IMG_8475.jpgFrom left to right: No. 7 Beautiful skin wipes, Simple Micellar water, Lancôme Bi-facial Double Action eye makeup remover

  1. The No. 7 Beautiful skin wipes I discovered in Ulta over the summer, they are made in the U.K. (at the time Ulta was incorporating more U.K. brands into the mix so I jumped on the bandwagon, of course) and these were one of the first things on my list.

They are hydrating, a stretchier, covered material rather than     dry and harsh on this skin. They remove makeup in a swipe and leave zero breakouts.

2.  The Simple Micellar water is one of the first products I ever tried from the brand, and still the reigning champ of the brand in my eyes. I first used it in 2014 (during the summer, once again) and instantly fell in love. Didn’t break me out, can be used without water, and gets off makeup whether using a cotton pad or my hands.

3. The Lancôme Bi-Facial Double Action eye makeup remover is my tried and true, old and blue favorite. I began using it when I was 12, whenever I wore the odd bit of brown eyeliner in middle school– yes, you heard that right. Not even consistent, but random days I decided to line my bottom lashes and not even think to add mascara.

It gives an oily consistencey– I would suggest shaking it up to mix the ingredients. It also provides very little effort in removing makeup, the littlest bit will clean my entire eye, that is with mascara, eyeliner, eyeshadow, eyebrows, highlight, foundation, etc. A little goes a long way, it can be used on more than just the eye are of the face, it smells amazing and clean, your face will feel like a baby’s bum after using it. It’s flipping amazing.

If you have tried any of these products, please let me know what you think of them, I love them and all opinions are my own and nothing has been sponsored (just in case I get a doubter) or embellished. I freaking love all of these, they have reserved spots in my heart forever.

Thanks for reading! ^_^

Love,

Nat ❤

Fall / Winter Beauty Favorites

These are a few of my favorites for autumn and winter. There are no eye shadows this time, but there is a narrowing down of lipstick (I promise).

💖Skincare:

I don’t use many face masks, but when I do I just buy one from the drugstore and I tend to reach for the one that appears in a mint color on my face. It’s just fun. There is also, of course, moisturizer because no one wants a yucky dry face… well I’d prefer not to have that anyways. I have cotton pads to use with my makeup remover which is the simple micellar water (loooove this stuff. Love it.) there is also a mini first aid beauty cleanser in case I run out of the micellar water. I’ve also thrown in the first aid beauty radiance pads because it’s nice to refresh the face with them… but whatever you do, don’t get this product in you’re eyes.

💖Highlighters:

I love love love the wander highlighter in ivory (my favorite), watts up highlighter by benefit (bought at an airport from the cutest vending machine), and a mini becca spotlight highlighter.

💖Lip balm:

I have here a hempz lip balm, a jack black lip balm in the lemon flavor (a game changer), and a burts bees conditioning lip balm.

💖Blush:

Blush may just be one of my favorite things in the universe, and I have the Tarte Amazonian clay blush in blushing bride, NARS orgasm blush, benefit rockateur (currently replacing my Cora lists which I’ve run out of for the fourth time ahhh), and the becca beach tint in lychee/Opal pictured above.

💖Lippies:

I honestly did narrow this down… haha. I stuck around the red family although I added in a few everyday nude picks as well. From the left: burts bees lip shimmer in rhubarb, Mac dazzleglass in love alert, Anastasia Beverly Hills lipgloss in date night, too faced melted lipstick in melted berry, Rimmel Kate moss lipstick in 107, buxom lipgloss in White Russian, bare minerals marvelous moxie lipgloss in rebel, rosy Vaseline tub, urban decay revolution lipstick in naked, Mac lipstick in creme cup. I realize now I didn’t include the Lancôme lip lover in rose ballet 313, and I have to tell you that is my all time favorite lipgloss year round.

💖Eyeliner:

I didn’t include my go-to brown pencil liner, however liquid liner I feel is that extra bit flattering in the fall. I have the best ever eyeliner by dollywink in the shade black, the super slim liner by L’Oréal, and two maybelline line stilleto eyeliners in blackest black and brownish black. Note: an amazing eyeliner I do no have on me at the moment is the essence gel eyeliner in midnight in Paris.

💖Nail polish:

So so so many shades… Essie peak of chic, essence rock, Essie Aruba blue, Essie skirting the issue, Chanel accessorie, Essie no more film, Rimmel ready set go, Essie Bahama mama, topshop heart of gold, sinful colors easy going, Essie mademoiselle. One not pictured that I am currently wearing is the Essie merino cool.

💖Book I’m currently reading:

The little Paris bookshop by Nina George. 😄

🍁 Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know what you’re favorites are for the autumn and winter months.🍁
